You can become a resident in Dubai if you meet certain conditions:

  • Do you invest more than AED 2,000,000 (approximately €500,000) and have less than AED 1,000,000 in financing on this property(s)? Then you can apply for residency in Dubai for 10 years.
  • If you invest more than AED 750,000 (about €187,500), you can get a 2 year visa.
  • You can also obtain a retirement visa for 5 years, if you invest more than AED 1,000,000 (approximately €250,000) and are 55 years or older.
  • Will you be working as an employee in Dubai? If so, you can apply for residency through your employer.
  • Setting up a business in Dubai also allows you to obtain residency.

To complete your residency, you will need to come to Dubai once for a medical examination and biometric scan. Once that is done, you will receive your Emirates ID.

Our team along with our partners can help you apply for residency based on your investment and set up a company in Dubai to obtain residency this way. Please note that becoming a resident in Dubai may affect your residency in the Netherlands.
